R 350 shift issue
I just leased a R350 and only had 400 miles. My R 350 vibrates and had a rough ride while driving at around 2000 rpm, otherwise ride is smooth. I have shown to dealer and nothing has been done so far, please advice is this a transmission issue?

Welcome to the forum.
My only guesses are something is either off balance or you have a bad mount somewhere, either transmission or engine. Regardless, this isn't something you should be troubleshooting since your R is still under warranty and is fairly new. I would go back to the dealer to go for a ride with one of the techs and replicate the issue for them. If they still don't find anything, try another dealer.
Good luck!

This reminds me of my old RX300. I couldn't recall the rpm range, but it felt almost the same thing.
I would guess it's due to AWD re-modification of newer R-class?

You could try to go to another dealer. Then again, I'm not sure exactly how severe the vibration is. When I hear the word vibration, i'm expecting something severe. I don't notice any vibration in my R that would make me take notice. Depending on how sensitive you are to the vibration, it very well could be normal or one of the issues I mentioned above.

Are you saying that you can feel something noticeably shaking (in the engine bay) while driving the car at 2000 rpm? Could it be that the acceleration is not that smooth for you at the said rpm?

Is it this?
I have an 06 R500. And sometimes when it's cold and RPM's are low, I feel the rough shifts going from 1st to 2nd to 3rd all at low RPM's only.
The feeling is like when you drive a manual transmission car, and you drop the clutch too early, you get the back and forth motion cause by the tranny...is it this? I've felt this on a number of mercedes, and all of them have the 7 speed tranny...old cars don't have this.
I'm almost inclined to think it's normal. I drove an 06 E-class, same thing.
