On a lot you can buy a 2006 R500 with all the options (without airmatic and without dual screen entertainment) for 39 Canadian.

Not sure about the auction prices but at the dealer for CPO you can expect to pay anywhere between 26-30k US.

It really depends on the miles, options and condition of the car.

Don't get the R without the Panoramic, Parktronic, and Nav. You can find a 2006 R for 26k but it will usually be without these options.

Good luck!!! I love my 2006 R500!!!

I bought my wife the 06 R500 for $25k with 38,000 miles on it and extended warranty till 2013. Phenomenal deal. It didnt have Nav(my mistake) or Pano roof(in Florida, its not a good idea). But I love that damn minvan-ish thing. It drives really smooth, uber-quiet(which I love since i DESPISE road noise) and safety I do not question.

I'm even considering the R63 as a daily driver. I mean I have to beat my friends sports cars and laugh at them for getting beat by a minivan.

Go to the CarMax website and you can get a good idea for what they are going for since they are fixed prices with no negotiation. My read is CarMax prices things about 2,000 over the price they get them at auction. So, you might get a better deal with dealers that negotiate. I have noticed that the options really influence car price. We just bought a fully loaded 06 R350 with all most all the options except DVD for 26,000 but it had a lot of miles (45,000). I think I paid a couple thousand more than the best deal because we really like the options on the car (Parktronic, heated seats, and the pano roof are a must). Get a late 2006 that has the power rear windows and two part sun shades.
