I've got the Saks 5th Ave R500, so they all look the same. Pewter with the R63AMG interior of black leather with black alcantara inserts on the seats, and aluminum trim instead of wood.
Looks outstanding.

i've got the white with macadamia interior and I would not get it again. I like the white, hate the macadamia but got a killer lease on it back in 07. I will go with grey or black next time.

Pewter with Black inside for our 09 R320. My wife loves it. Pewter is called "Cubanite gray" here in Canada and I think everywhere else in the world except the US.

Black w/ grey interior. And really would more than likely do it again, but would consider black on black.
My desired combo was Black w/ Macadamia or the dark/royal blue w/ macadamia...but since I have kids, that was a no go, and seeing what they've done and how the grey is holding up, I won't be until they're long gone and me and the wife can go back to a coupe for a couple of years. LOL.

Reyes,
It'll be a while until your Porsche and Ferrari coupes come back to your driveway.
In case you can't wait, try the M or AMG. Now they even put these badges on SUVs...

we have pewter/grey, but first choice would be white/black...it's been tough finding that combo on ANY car, let alone R-class. i think there's too many tan/beige interior cars...i totally don't get it. i'd go grey or black, but the tan? not my cup of tea.

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
I have Majestic Black with Cashmere interior. Love the Majestic Black, its black in shadows or at night, but turns to a dark blue in the sunlight and if you catch it with just the right light it can throw off a purplish hue. Yeah I know what your thinking and no I'm not on lsd lol, its true check it out sometime. Shame they don't offer the color on more models, they have decided to go with Obsidian Black which I got on my C class and was the biggest waste of $720 bucks I've ever spent. As for the Cashmere interior, it wasn't my choice, as with most of us here, they gave me a heck of a deal so I took what they had, I would much rather have black.

R350 4-matic
![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
I have been looking for a R63 so I can get my "sport" fix and still haul the kids & family around, but no luck so far. I have a neighbor a couple of blocks over who has kids that are in the 8-12 range and just getting a glimpse of how good it fits them makes me glad to have mine.
I figure in about 10 years, I might...might be able to get a classic Ferrari. If I'm not dead yet from 3 girls!
LOL.

When you have it, it's just okay. When you can't have it (kids in my case), you want it even more.

I like tan interiors but they don't age very well. I used to have a E300 with light tan leather interior that I kept for 10 years. The leather seats were showing all the cracks, even though I would religiously treat the leather annually. If they were black the same thing would happen but would not be as visible at all.

I almost forgot, Yes I would buy again. The Pewter Looks amazing clean or dirty!!! The Black interior with the grey stitching, and silver trim is blazing!!! I love Black exterior but I stayed away from it this time. I have OCD, really bad case of it and a black car drove me insane!!! I even have a garage and still felt like I couldn't keep it clean enough. The Pewter can go a good 2 weeks and look pretty darn good. Just clean the wheels and you are set.

2006 R500 Obs black. Keyless, comfort, trim, lighting, AMG sport, premium and rr seat ent. packages
Obsidian black/black. I would not get this color combination again. #1 I live in Florida and am over having a solar oven....er.... black car with lots of windows to a black interior. My mistake, lesson learned. #2 The paint on mine is like butter. It scratches and has chipped on the nose VERY easily. That is actually the ONLY thing about my R500 I do not like and am not happy about. Would I get another R class. Yes, if its a 550 or AMG offering. Not black/black. In my old age I am starting to lean toward the cashmere and multicolored interiors. The grey interior on the MBs, to me, looks like it dirtys or ages too easily. Just my 2 cents.

as for you buying R500 w/ the 550 engine, i'd ditto that. not sure why, but my R500 still feels a bit rough at 2k RPM-ish, though some think it's due to the 4-matic(is that possible?).
lastly, i'm still thinking something's wrong w/ the steering shaft/rack design. mine clicks a little, but the MB dealer's shuttle is quite loose. anyone else experience that?

most definitely get another R320 Blutec. I am on my return from Florida, at a Hampton Inn in Bordentown, NJ for the night. I've been doing 140-150 km/h and the trip computer is registering ~10 L/100 km. Not too shabby. Our R is a 2009 Cubanite on black, with the pano roof and the Navi (which sucks). I've been using my Garmin which has last years maps and it's still more up to date.

I am surprised no one has posted Iridium Silver and Black. This must be one of the most common MB color combos on the road for any model. I had a 2000 W163 in the same colors. Not sure if black is the best to keep clean on the inside as many suggest. For stains maybe, but dust and shoe prints are impossible to keep from showing.

Seems everyone loves their color the best! Good job MB. I've never EVER seen or heard of a periclase green R but would like to see one with the macadamia (brown) interior. I think my favorite is the Barolo Red (Carneol Red) with the macadamia. (But I like mine the best - Lazurite blue (Alpine Rain) with Black interior. I agree the paint is kind of soft - one chip on the hood. Otherwise it flawlessly shimmers and seems to change color under a clouded winter sky compared to bright sunny days.
I laughed about the OCD posting above - seems MB owners might fit this profile more than people think - I too clean my wheels fairly regularly and used to weekly wash mine and towel dry it.
Lastly - I saw a cubanite at the dealer and it's a VERY pleasing color - 80 percent of the time appears like silver but then has a brown tobacco undertone.
