quick tip: WD-40
I noticed our pano roof was creaking when it was opening. I sprayed some WD-40 on the inside track and it helped. The creaking is gone and it seems to open quicker.
I am sure this is not an offical fix but it sure did work.

I would have that look at if it's still under warranty. Mine was doing the same thing - I didn't think much of it - but they found the "cables were chewed up and sunroof starting to bind". They had to replace the cables and tracks. Mine is getting noisy again going over bumbs but not when opening/closing.Originally Posted by jlbunting

My R is currently in dealership. Getting last items to be fixed before warranty expiring 
For Panoroof, they ordered the whole new frame, that's why it has been there over a week now, waiting for parts. Should be ready today... Let's see how quiet it is then
