what is widest tire size I can go before rubbing?

my wheels are 22x10 et50. I have lowered via star. I currently have 265/40/22 and I have seen 285/35/22, but I was thinking about even wider?

possibly 305/30/22 or 315/25/22. anyone seen anything wider than 285s? I know it depends on the wheel offset and my wheels are et50.

i have the 285 35 22 - i am unsure my offset but i don't think you could go any wider. There is about 1/2 inch clearance on the inside of mine and the outside of mine are on the verge of going a little too far out from unser the fender wells. I also must say that these are WIDE tires... 305 would be insane! http://picasaweb.google.com/jhepwort...86476284988978

I have 295 30 22s in the back

I have 295 30 22s on 22x10.5 et 35 wheels in the back 265 35 22 on 22x9.5 et35 wheels in the front. I have put the front on the back before just to see if it rubbed and it only did on the inner wheel liner but not on the fender and only in full turn lock when suspension was fully compressed. Pictures are on page 4 of picture thread. I was going to go with the 305 30 22 tire but dunlop is the only company that makes them and I think they discontinued. There is also someone who runs 315 25 23 all around on a 23x11 et40 on all four corners and says they dont rub.
