Mobil1 Euro vs Formula M
I am approaching the 10K mark. Phoned two local dealers on the oil they use for V6 350 enmgine. One uses the The Mobil1 European formula $7.5 per Quart the other dealer uses ESP Formula M for all their oil changes (this stuff is the DIESEL approved). The ESP Formula M is $8.40 per quart. Which one should I use???

The single most expert poster on the Internet as regards these cars (and diesel VWs), i.e. drivbiwire, has answered your question at benzworld.
Some dealers stock two different oils, but most only have one type in their system and that's the one for DPF-equipped diesels as it's required for them and is fine for other engines, too.
