Hello to All,
For those of you who may have a Bluetec vehicle, do not let the dealer take advantage of you with the refilling of the Adblue. Just purchase the maximum amount needed for your vehicle (18 containers) and follow the instructions in the manual (very easy to do). The cost is around $10/bottle CDN here in Canada. That way, you will fill up the Adblue to the needed level when needed, and not have to panic when the message comes up for the Adblue.
Cheers

Your writing is unclear.
You must mean "purchase" somewhere besides the dealer.
It's cheaper at VW dealers, for example, or so I read.
It's not rocket science, of course, so paying someone to pour it in isn't real necessary.

Lol..little known fact about the Bluetec cars/suv's that doesn't show up too often. When the Adblue runs out, the car will not start again after you turn off the ignition, until you put more Adblue in. So having an extra bottle with you sounds like a good plan, even though I would guess it would fall under the roadside assistance program.
