DIY R 350 Oil Change
I decided to change the oil in my wifes car instead of paying $200.
It was so easy.I am mechanically inclined but everything I read made it seem hard.It was easier than my 07 Duramax Diesel.
There is a right up with pictures somewhere on this site that gives exact details.I followed this except I do not have an oil extractor.I put the car on jacks and took off the under carriage cover.10 bolts use a 10mm socket.Once you get the cover off you will see a black oil pan.It looks small but it is the oil pan.There is a bolt right in the front use a 13mm socket.Next take off the oil filter.I suggest using an oil filter wrench but I did not have one so I use Channel Locks with a towel,worked just fine.Make sure you take off the oil filter before putting the drain plug back on.
Put the drain plug on and refill the oil where the oil filter is.This is the easiest way but you can also use a funnel and refill through the filler.Either way I hope this helped those who do not have an oil extractor.
