R350 Lease Assumption Experience / Interest?

Want to post this to get some input from the community. We have an 08 R350 with P2, iPod, heated seats, 2nd row bench, Pano roof (I think that's all the options) with 17k miles. It's black (non option) and black MB Tex in near perfect condition (9.8/10). We have 2 sets of wheels/tires, both OE in 18" and 19" as in pics attached (18" are Conti 19" are Michelin); miles split between the two sets. All dealer records available, no kids inside.

I love the car, as does my wife, but we struggle justifying the size for city driving. As you can see from the pics we take it on trips and it's incredible. No issues except we are going to get something smaller.

To the point: does anyone have experience with MBF in getting someone to assume their lease? Release of liability an issue for the primary lessee? How long was MBF taking to process?

Anyone interested in a lease with 10 payments left (due to MB in mid Jan 11)? This really is a steal if someone is looking, we haven't posted anywhere yet. Summary of what we are looking for is:

1. Monthly payment is $415 including 6% tax (MI)
2. We are looking for $3000 payment to us and you can have all wheels/tires, and all weather floor mats, and Bluetooth module (console).
3. You pay $595 transfer fee (I believe this is the amount).
4. Residual is approx $34,000 in January 2011. (I can confirm if interest)

Also, MBF is allowing lease extensions again, so that may be possible. Sorry for the novel, share some thoughts/interest.

The 18" are the twin spoke with Conti Contact 4x4 all season. The 19" are Michelin Latitude Tour HP.

We are in the northern suburbs of Detroit.

Nice R, too bad you've got to get rid of it.
