Shooting Break Concept wagon
Thought this would appeal to us 'R' class owners...a sign of things to come perhaps....what a beautiful car.

OMG I love it. Beautiful!
Wow I hope this car is available in the US. The interior is amazing and I just love the lines of this car.
Rosswell: Thank you for this post and link.
Wonder what the price will be?

The fact that it is a concept tells me that the production version if it ever comes to production would be somewhat close but not the same! The same thing happened with the R class prototype back in 2002-2003, the production version was quite different

If the name of the car doesn't have the word "Vision" in it...its not being considered for production. That doesn't mean that certain aspects of the car won't make it into production, it just means that the car as a whole isn't slated for a production run. It looks more like a replacement of the E Estate for the U.S. market. They have killed the C Estate and gave us the GLK instead, so this looks like the evolution of the E Estate to me. I wouldn't be too surprised to see some of the exterior cues show up on a refresed E Estate if it makes it's return to the U.S.
