AUX CABLE?

HELLO THERE,

I have a CLK and a C, and both had a pretty simple way of adding an auxiliary cable for iPod iPhone usage.
Is there a way to do this with the R Class? My friend has one and really wants to install with the same method I did!

Thanks

Yup, simple, look in the glove box, on the right hand side in the top corner there is a round hole. You can get a cord at Radio Shack to that has a headphone type plug at both ends on it, plug one into the jack in the glove box and one into your IPod player, select AUX on the radio and play on the IPod -- you should hear music through the radio from your IPod at this point. If you want a more elaborate setup where you can control the IPod through your steering wheel controls, then that it is going to take some 'expert' help that others on this forum will be able to help you with. Also, what year is your R-Class? that will help others help you. You might want to search this forum, this topic has most likely been discussed before.
