Looking to buy 2008 R-320

Looking at a 2008 diesel with 16K on it. fairly loaded (air ride, etc) they want $40 K. what do i need to check out or look out for? is this a reasonable price for a dealer cpo model. has some scratches on the rear quater/bumper otherwise it is clean. car fax is clean.

We just bought a 2007 CPO R320CDI that had P1 and some other options but no air ride (we did not want it) with 36K miles. Based on what we paid for ours, I would recommend trying to get the price closer to 37K. However, note that the diesel MB are in high demand and if your market has only a few (like ours), then expect to pay a premium.

We had ours for nearly 3-4 weeks now and are averaging 24mpg mostly in-town.

I bought my 08 R320 in August of 08 for $53,000 with P1 & P2.

1st of all - I still love the vehicle just as much today as when I got it. After I bought this, I never looked at another car with envy - I have the best there is.

Mine now have 75,000 miles on it and it's been mostly issue free. I'll be putting my 3rd set of tires on it this fall and I've had a few Parktronic sensors fail.

There is a device that you can put on it called a "KD" box and it's dealer installed. The power and mileage goes way up.

That price seems a little high, but the diesels are holding their value for a reason.

You'll enjoy if you get it.

Cool. Ours has the pano roof (which I think is standard on all R class cars) and a whole bunch of individually selected options according to the MVI sheet.

Ask your dealer to give you a copy of the MVI. Ours actually had it printed out and stored with the carfax etc.

Also, I would highly recommend getting the MBUSA extended warranty to extend the warranty +2 yrs on top of the CPO.
