I do have problem with low beam light and day time light on my R class Grand Edition.
After travelling from London to Italy and back just before 2 miles to home my right front low beam headlight started flickering. When I stop and locked the car the light was still flickering. On following day I got massage on dash boar that I need to change the bulb and everything start playing funny other front light vent off , engine light come on daylight stop working. Then I discover my battery compartment fluted like 3 - 5 cm. After drying the battery compartment everything went back except right low beam headlight. High beam is fine.
I tried to swooping lamp units from right to left to see if light unit is faulty but it lit so unit is fine. Fuses is all fine front, middle, back and battery compartment. not sure about relays when I checked them on multimeter for me they was fine.
Any ideas please help
My first question would be the validity of the fuse chart for a 2008 r350. I am not sure why mb would not think to also include the fuse chart for the entire vehicle in the owners manual. Why only in with the spare tire gear, which could easily get ruined or misplaced.
If the chart is correct, what other options are there other then the individual sochets? Btw the sochets are varied in appearance. Meaning the truck and fp look unused while the 2nd row is noticeable in oxidizing or poor care and the cl looks like fluid or oxidation badly.
Btw I will be posting this in my other thread as well and can take pics if needed.
I had some crazy electrical problems show up and I found 5 gallons of water in the compartment with the battery, the carpets are dry and the cowl drains are open. Where did the water come from? Why on earth don't they put drains in these compartments?

Rip that rubber piece of "poo" out. I can put a garden hose in the air box at full clip and the water doesn't back up...
