High pressure in diesel fuel tank.
When i took the cap off of my fuel tank the other day there was a fairly high pressure release. we have had the car for only a month and i have not encountered this before. we just returned from a 200 mile drive and i can smell diesel fumes in the fuel cap area. is this normal??

On my 08, I have never heard anything - especially pressure release.
Perhaps you came from or went into elevation?
I don't smell diesel fuel in my cap area. Maybe you have residue or something in that area.
