Baby seat in the 2nd row middle??
Wife and I have a toddler with a second child due 3/31/11. After numerous test drives and endless research we have narrowed our choice down to the R Class or the new Honda Oddy.
My question...will I be able to put an infant car seat in the middle of the second row with the 7 seat option? Want to have the toddler seat on the outside with the rear facing infant seat in the middle to leave an outside seat empty for easy access to the third row.
Any photos??

I think it works like this ...
There are pairs of ISOFIX connectors for the outboard seats and it's easy to use both inside latches to centrally mount a seat.
Whether the inside connector will accept two latches is unlikely.

Middle seat in 2nd row is too narrow. If you can somehow install carseat you won't be able to pull outer seats forward to allow passengers to enter third row of seats. Also middle seat doesn't have the hook for the strap that keeps carseat from shifting from side to side.

A rear-facing infant seat in the middle of the 2nd row fits fine on the GL450. I was hoping it would be the same on the R class as well. While there aren't any latch hooks in the middle seats like there are in the outer seats, the seatbelt works just fine to secure the infant seat.
