Cheap $10.00 mod LED strip light at fog light

Actually the strip LEDs lights looks better at night time.
If using along with my modded 35 Watts* Mtec HID fog lights (originally, I had H7 LED), it will much better and brighter in day time.
* Brighter than OEM H7 55 Watts halogen.

I'd like to do this but I am worried about it looking like a "Pep Boys Add-on" vs. Factory.
I was looking at these from JLC Autmotive on eBay: Item No.: 300505642002 (sorry there is not a link but eBay is firewalled at work)
Granted they are $100+ and not $10 so I am fully aware of the difference. But, if the $10 option looks "good enough" ill go that route.
Also, I am confused... I was looking at this post, https://mbworld.org/forums/r-class-w...ng-lights.html, in which you seem to have different LEDs on your R - did you change them?
