Sounds like your drain inside the cabin filter unit is clogged. You mentioned it rained for two days. What happens is the water comes inside the car right under the glove box after dripping on the blower motor shorting it out. The blower will stay on all the time, there is alot on this subject in other threads, and what to do about it.

Plugged air intake drain

This happened to my 2006 R500, only the water filled the space under the passenger floor and flooded the YAW computer and other components. Repairs cost $3,000.
Mercedes response was that the drain was blocked by debris likely due to parking under trees. Strange there are no trees in my garage. They also said that a plugged air intake drain is to be expected. Really, in 40 years of driving cars in Europe and NA I have not experienced such. Mercedes also claim that it is not in the service schedule or a TSB, so how are we supposed to know, and if a plugged drain is to be expected then they should have clearing this on the service schedule.
Great car, but the Mercedes attitude is not good.

Mercedes give me the same response, and i tell them no trees in my garage and my work garage reply is sorry nothing we can do, but thank god my is only the blower motor ( $644 ) and is little bit under 1k for repairs, and i think Mercedes should put this matter in the service schedule every 30000 miles. and thanks for sharing
