New to the W251 Forum
Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself in the W251 forum (shouldn't it be V251?). I used to have a W203 and a W209. Anyways, the R is my sister's and she is moving so I am taking it from her. I believe it has been a reliable car for her so far so I'm looking forward to owning and driving it.
Will pick it up next month and either ship it back or drive it back. Pretty excited, already got some parts on order hoping to improve its styling and function. Doesn't seem to be too much activity here but glad to be here anyway!

Hi, just for reference, the W251 is the short wheel base and the V251 the long one.
Mine's the short on a 2006 plate and its a great motor, the kids love it with the rear entertainment system.
Cheers and good luck !

We love it because it did not give us any headaches yet (no electrical or mechanic problem ).
Currently, it has 25K miles on the odometer and been serviced once a year at our local MB dealer.
I took a gamble and decided not to buy a extended warranty.
