Sorry, I think it would help if you explained what you are asking in a little more detail. I can't firgue out what you're looking for.

I am guessing that the poster is talking about "lowering".

From what I've read here in the forum, H&R springs are used in the front and the rear suspension is lowered using notebook computer adjustment. Search on "lowering" and you should find some good pix and discussion of who has done it and how.

I don't have airmatic and haven't yet lowered ours. It is one of the things on my list of druthers. It is my wife's daily driver and she is a stickler about following the rules of the road. However, she does know how to change direction in an assertive manner, i.e., not using the brakes to take a shallow corner, and might appreciate the improved handling.

There is a shop in the DC area that is experienced in lowering MBs and he has the equipment required to ensure that the rear end stays properly adjusted once the front has been lowered. I'd share the name but I can't remember it right now.

hey guys thanks for the input. I don't have airmatic. I have seen the H&R springs on the net. Everytime I see springs it only shows front drop (in inches) so I guess they only sell the fronts. I saw something about the R350 self levelling itself for the rear before so I was kind of assuming that if you install the front the back would level itself out.

Thanks for the input on the computer software (is that for non airmatic), did you see that on here? I'll check the search......

Then yeah what you've been reading is right. Get the H&R springs to lower the front and find a shop that will use Star to lower the rear via the computer. Total cost including the springs will probably run at least $500.

I'd use a Sikorsky Skycrane.
