R350 BlueTec | Gone?
Looking at the MBUSA website, I am wondering what happened to the page for the R350 BlueTec Crossover? I know Mercedes is currently updating all of their pages to the new look and doing so for the 2012 models (possibly bringing down the 2011 page temporarily) but if you look here:
http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/class/class-R
I do not see any BlueTec option or page for the vehicle... any thoughts? Are they getting rid of it because under available models a BlueTec was available just a few weeks ago for about $1K more than the R350 petrol 4Matic.

You're right. I don't see the BlueTec Model anymore. I just looked at that website to price out one not long ago. I don't recall reading anywhere that MB is dropping the BlueTec R class. If anything, a new and more powerful 350 engine will be used for the 2012 line up.

Yeah I am guessing it is part of the process of updating the site and vehicles... the mobile version says they are under maintenance on that part of the site when I access it from my phone. Huh, I guess we will see. But I REALLY hope they keep the BlueTec - especially for a van-like crossover that I would use on family road trips for its efficiency...

Maybe in October. Some 2012 models are out today.

Pity.
I like my motor but geez, that new one seems tailor made for the R class. I don't get why they only put it in the ML which is a lighter vehicle.
