Strange vibration
I have a 2007 R280CDI 4M. Some times I get a strange vibration in the car. Its like when you drive over road marking which is made in stripes to get your attention if you drift out of your lane (if you have that in the states..) At first I only experienced it with the distronic engaged. If the car accelerated by itself with low revs,the vibration can come for some tenths of a second. Later I have been able to replicate it without the distronic engaged, but its quite difficult. It seems I must use the comfort mode in the transmission so the car accelerate without shifting up. The vibration only happens below 15-1700 rpm.
Any ideas?

The problem you described seems very similar to what I have now:
1. when on highway at 1200 rpm I push the accelerator (or click the cruise control + 10 kmh) the car starts to vibrate.
2. when I shift down (rpm up) the problem is gone.
Did you have your problem solved? What wat the solution?
