Dear MBWorld forumers,

Would appreciate any advice on how to remove and reinstall the second row seats in my six-seater R320CDI L.

Am preparing to retrofit a middle row centre seat as per David Bho's thread https://mbworld.org/forums/r-class-w251/387546-successful-center-seat-retrofit.html. While I think I can see how the seats are retained in their runners, I would like to know more before I start removing things.

First disconnect the wire holding it from the bottom (rear area i believe). Then there's four screws at each corner hidden under some plastic trim at the rails and you're set.

 

Thanks for that - much appreciated. Lifted a trim piece and saw the bolt. Will have a go at the retrofit during the week.
