Help! 2008 R-350 Center Vents not working

2008 R350
Help! 2008 R-350 Center Vents not working
New to the forum here. The center vents of my 2008 R350 stopped working. The AC is blowing from the side vents and the defogger by the windshield. I assume it is not the blower the other vents are blowing cold air, just not the center ones.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

2008 R350
I have to keep the temp controls to max (60F) for it to blow any cold air. Also, if I turn on the rear vents, the car starts blowing hot air.

Anyone?

Checked with an Indie workshop that I trust and the guy mentioned that it is a blend door actuator problem. About 7~8 hours of labor, so $1000 bucks right there.
