most people LOVE their R.
depending on who you talk with, if they want your 100k S55, they may want money on top of your car as trade for their lower mileage R, lol.

Ha, my dealer's used car manager wants to buy my low mileage 2007 R500, 42,000 miles. I told them no thank you. I plan on keeping this thing for another 10 years. Wrong color for you anyway, white with the macadamia interior. And pretty well loaded with everything but keyless go and the rear seat video system.

I think if you find one, you'll love the car. There are a few known issues (transmission & airmatic) but overall the car is a great family / long distance cruising choice. Just know what you are buying.

 

the R500 was 06-07 only so there is no 2008 R500. they were not popular and there aren't that many sold so they can be a little harder to find, especially if you have a set criteria of specs and color but are well worth the hunt, the R500 is the best, I love mine so much I wouldn't trade it for anything but good luck in your hunt
