Bluetooth Questions
I recently purchased an '07 320 CDI. I'd like to be able to connect my mobile via Bluetooth to the audio system. I've done some research but am still a bit confused.
My car seems to be prewired for a phone, and I have the uhi/mhi connector in the center armrest console. From what I understand I have 2 options:
1) OEM Mercedes BT adapter B67875878
2) Viseeo MB-4
While I've read good things about the Viseeo, the MB adapter can be found on eBAy for roughly half the price. Strangely, all the eBay adapters are in the USA, will these work with my Euro R? I understand the Comand units were made by different companies in USA and EU. Is the B67875878 the correct adapter for my car? I'm also concerned that my modern HTC phone might have trouble pairing with a piece of hardware manufactured circa 2005. Are the MB pucks upgradeable?
I previously drove an '09 B180 CDI, and had issues with the factory Bluetooth syncing with Samsung phones (why I now have an HTC). If the Mercedes BT unit is going to give me trouble in my R, I'd rather just spend the extra cash for the Viseeo.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
