The flowmasters sound pretty good. There is a little drone down the highway and up the hill, but the series of the muffler makes difference of sound. The sound seems good to me, I would rather listen to the exhaust than a radio. flowmasters on a Benz is weird but I've always used and trusted them. I will put up a video of the sound tommorow, it will be nice out finally . On a side note, I was actually thinking about cutting out the middle silencers and wondering how it would sound.

I cut the exhaust where it bends up to go to the stock mufflers. Welded a pipe from the new muffler down to where the bend is. I cut the exhaust farther away from the stock muffler because it was actually easier to bend pipe and do the welds , instead of cutting the pipe directly behind the muffler. More room, easier to set up new mufflers, and if I ever wanted to put stock mufflers back on . I chose stainless mufflers for them to last and I have always trusted Flowmaster for sound. The carbon rear diffuser I ordered out of japan, and the exhaust tips were a bit of a pain in the ***. The exhaust tip openings on the new diffuser are a little smaller than stock , so I had to play around with tips to fit in and that would look good. When I get a chance I'll take a pic. I live in upstate New York and the weather has been **** up here , so I just leave the car in the carport.
