R350 dead mouse(?) somewhere in the ducts
Hi all,
it seems we have a dead mouse (?) in our air ducts in R350. The stench is overwhelming ... It is strongest when I use only internal circulation. I checked the cabine air filter and it is definitely not there. I also checked the input grills on the hood, nothing there.
Questions:
1) Did anyone have similar issue and what did you do
2) Is anyone aware of any chart that shows the air ducts in the car
3) When I turn on internal circulation, where are the intakes?
4) Any ideas?
Thanks

I had a mouse living in the firewall area, the nest was below the hvac air intake box. I removed the housing that holds the cabin filter easily enough from under the hood, vacuumed the area out and washed throroughly, no more mouse or smell.
