Parktronic LED's come on,beeps and turn in to red . After while whole parktronic system shuts down. I check most of the sensors for loose connections they are ok but some of the front sensors can not be checked for wiring issues unless front bumper is removed.
I reserched on line and some people had the same issue for different reasons. bad sensors and control module etc. If i know the location of the control module, I can check that before removing the bumper or take it to dealer.
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly, but it's probably in the trunk. You'll have to pull up the panels beside the spare tire and you'll see a bunch of electronics there. Look for a small box labelled N62.

According to my search the part # is A 164 820 18 26 and the box looks like the picture attached. I might be wrong. I will look for your one too.

The part numbers may vary. The one in your pics is for an ML-class. They may have used the same part number for the R-class or GL-class or not, but it should look the same either way.

Hi Am new to this, Anyone found the site of the Parktronic control unit in the w211 R320 2006 wagon? my diagnostic tool says I either have a loose wire or the unit is faulty. Sensors are good and clean as Parktronic works from time to time. Thanks
