As much research as I did this never came up. I purchased my R on Tuesday and yesterday as I tried to relocate the shade closer to the second row seats I immediately saw it wasn't long enough. Consulted the manual where I saw that there are extensions needed. I looked all over the car again, all the cubbies, wheel well, under seats, console etc etc and no luck, extensions aren't in the car. Tried searching forums for info and nothing.

I was hoping to see if some one here has those extensions and hopefully they have part numbers and I will be able to buy them separately. If anyone has these could you please check to see if they have part numbers? Thanks in advance.

That's going to be a tough one to find - I don't think MB sells them under a separate part number.

I was worried about that. Maybe someone could post pictures of them both or of one if they are identical next to a ruler to see the size needed and maybe I could fabricate something to make it work. Not exactly sure what they look like, how big they are, what they are made of or how the ultimately attach to the shade ends.

I sold mine so I can't take any pics, but the extensions twist lock in place on either end and when not in use they have a T-channel that locks them in place on the underside of the main piece.

Black with grey ceiling and columns.

I have a beige cover with hardware that will never be used ---but that wont work with grey interior.

I have a grey one!

When i got my grey interrior used 2011 R350 it was missing the cargo cover.... I was the 3rd ownerr. But it did have a extension lying under the seat...
