About to purchase a 2006 R350

I'm about to purchase a 2006 Mercedes r350 with 100k on it, is there anything specific I should be concerned about before I sign? Honestly never owned a mercedes but need a 6+ passenger vehicle as our family is expanding. Would be doing a lot of interstate traveling in it, HOPEFULLY. Price is $8,500 from a car lot. Any info is helpful, thanks.

did you purchase it? 8.5 is more than what you should pay for it. I say no more than 7K. It has 100K and 11 years old so look at other R classes in your area, too.

Chk the vin to see if u are in the range for the balance shaft repair. If its in the range find out if the repair has bn done already cuz if its needed it can be very costly.

At the time I bot I remember I did some researches and knew that r350 engine of 2006 prone to have issues more than 500.
