Sirius Radio losing Pre-sets

Have a recent problem with my Sirius Radio. I'll turn on the radio and everything is "Free Preview". None of the presets work. The first time this happened I used my phone to re-send the ID to the car then re-programmed the Pre-sets. Has happened 3 times since. But I discovered that the ID is still working - just that the pre-sets are lost. So if I manually enter a Station, the radio will work as normal and all my subscribed channels can be accessed. Note: The FM Radio and AM radio pre-sets are all fine - it's only the Sirius pre-sets that are lost.

Has anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA!

yeah mine too.. 2011 R350 not sure if its sirius or the radio itself. seems to be working again it was rather random for a while. not all presets just some. odd but not high on my radar of worries.

so, had major electrical malfunctin.. SRS inoperative. Dont shift. ABS inoperative. tpms inoperative, etc etc... well new alternator fixed them all.. seems over voltage triggers all sorts of module auto shutoff and other faults.

And... no more losing Sirius presents... good for over a month now.
So may I suggest having your battery/charging system checked completely... including amps output vs load etc. That will diagnose a bad voltage regulator

Long shot but, I was having issues with the sound on my SAT radio/CD and terrestrial radio. After trying EVERTHING else, I was reading another post from a R350 owner who said that when they removed the spare tire, there was standing water in the wheel well and, a connector wire sitting in the water. Since he could not determine what it was supposed to connect to but, assumed it was unimportant, he cut off the distal portion of the wire and wrapped the remainder in electrical tape. On a hunch, I removed my spare tire and, low and behold, there was 3 inches of nasty, brown water sitting in the wheel well with a connector wire sitting in the water. I drained the water, cut the distal portion of the wire, wrapped the remainder in electrical tape, replaced the #23 fuse and............................my SAT radio, terrestrial radio sound and CD sound started working again! Keep in mind, #23 is supposed to be for the Rear Entertainment system but, obviously it's all connected. Fuse chart for 2008 R350 is attached. I see that your's is a 2011 but, I am sure they are close.

ATTN: All R350 owners. Pull your spare!

The 2011 does not have this wire... my 2008 had it .
