Advice on buying 2010 R350
Hi all,
I'm considering purchasing 2010 R350 with 100k miles. Car seems to be clean.
Any specific issues/risks to consider? I have read that older Rs are very problematic, but what about 2010?
Does $11000 seems reasonable or too high?
Thank you so much!

You are talking about the diesel or gas engine? If it is a diesel, then have it checked by a very knowledgeable MB mechanic as there are some expensive oil leakage problems. Check where it has been serviced and see if the maintenance is up to spec.

Believe the 2010 had the interior facelift but not the exterior. Thats OK too.. I have a 2011 with the exterior facelift too. I like that car very much.
I agree with auto385 I had a 2008 Diesel and my collegue got a 2010 both diesels and both had an oilcooler leak. Mine was done under extended warranty but my frrend had to pay $10k for the repair.. He then traded it in for an Infinity..
Lots of other expensive repair issues with the diesel. so good you are staying away from that.
May I suggest finding a 2013 CPE? some may just be coming off lease but still under warranty?
At that mileage check for rear airbag/airsprings leaking/ Does the car lean to one side or both. Have they been replaced?
steering rack leaks. apart from that, just the normal stuff:wear on suspension bits, shocks, brakes etc. Most are easy to repair by an indi or by yourself. lots of good aftermaket parts as the R shares chassis with the ML. Make sure you have some sort of maintenance record. Where the plugs changed back at 60-70K miles? Regular oil and filter changes? Are all the accessories and lights working? (faulty sam modules)
