blind spot assist
i have a 2011 r350. according to the manual blind spot assist is available. it does not come up in my menu as it is now established. to get to it do i have to go to the reset factory options? if so will i automatically loose all the things that are already there by default. i was not the one to set this up. i believe the dealer did. if i follow the instructions that i have attached will the blind spot assist come up under vehicle?
thanks
are these the instructions to follow to turn it on? what should i watch for to not erase what is already set and functional?

Just because something is in the manual does not mean that it is an installed option on your particular vehicle. I can't believe that it would ever be turned off. My R350 BlueTEC has it installed, but my vehicle was a custom build. Blind Spot Assist was a very rare option in R-Classes sold in North America. If Blind Spot Assist is installed on your vehicle, you should be able to see a triangle in the corner of each of your mirrors. At slow speeds, they should be constantly illuminated in a yellow-orange color. At higher speeds, they should disappear. When a vehicle is in your so-called blind spot, you should see a red triangle in the side-mirror on that particular side.
