'06 R 500
horrible headrest angle

We are looking to buy an '06 MB R500 with very low mileage and the headrests are killer, in a bad way! The manual says they do not pop out (that has been our go-to save for other cars--just pop it out, flip, and reinsert), and I am wondering how to fix the problem. Both my 20 year old, in perfect health with no neck problems, just very good posture, and myself, got stiff after a short test drive. Do we just pass up the car?

Isnt that where they pop out in an incident/harsh braking or accident. After you have to press it back in till it clicks? Read that somewhere. Mine are ok.

The headrests extend out and retract at the base. It's entirely friction based so if it doesn't move, just put some force into it.
