W251 prop shaft - any way to change only the support bearing?

So I have been wondering if it is possible to change just the bearing of the prop shaft which looks like this:

According to MB the bearing is not offered separately so if it goes bad you should basically replace the whole prop shaft (part number 2514101102, later replaced by 2514102002). Has anyone tried to extract just the support bearing? Is it possible? Does anyone have the specification of this bearing?

Thank you

Try a drive shaft company. They rebuild these with new parts. Don't try to do it yourself, as you will need a press and a way to re-balance the shaft. We get them done all the time for the Toyota Highlanders wtc.
