Hello all, do the R class cars have an anti-drain valve in tanks? I just changed fuel pump and filter module on my CLS55 and could siphon fuel from the filler neck but I am hitting an obstruction in the R500 when using 1/4 stiff plastic hose.

My tank is full and my fuel pump died. Any ideas to help get gas out as to not make a royal mess?

Luckily did not have to drain, the access panels are flat so was able to remove the fuel pump and sender hats and drain right from the tank. Change was straightforward. Got the pump and filter module from FCPEURO.COM and the sealing rings from Pelican parts.
