Working on reassembling the front bumper of a 2008 R350 (W251) and could use some help figuring out where to put a "boomerang"-like piece of foam. Bumper was damaged which is why I took it apart, but this was under the car, so I don't know where it came from.
Parts diagrams don't indicate where it goes exactly. From the shape, it seems it would be centered on the car and pointed to the front, the arc of the "tabs" matches that of the steel bumper, but not sure which is top or bottom and if something goes in the slots in the "tabs", etc. For what it's worth it's an AMG style bumper, no headlight washers, yes parking sensors.
