AC Issues (R350 bluetec)

Dreaded AC has not blowing cold air anymore, it was intermittent for a few days then now, it blow semi cold air for 1 minute after start up then only hot air. Bought it in December and it was blowing really cold air (I was impressed at the time).

I had the system evacuated and refilled with the correct amount of Freon, they didn't find any leaks, it was holding vacuum for over 1hr. It was refilled and it didn't solve the problem.

They aren't MB specialists, they think it's the AC compressor but I have my doubts. They don't have the proper Star/Xentry to do diagnostics. I've been trying to find someone local in South Florida to help me, I've tried to see if I can buy the C4/C5 or whatever multiplexer to do diag myself but holy is it pricey. Not like $50 cable and easy to find free software and I can do everything on my BMWs.

Almost ready to light the Mercedes on fire. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions that can help, pretty sure anywhere i take it will want to replace everything AC related for several thousands.

I can have the system evacuated and change the compress myself, but I don't want to throw parts at it and have it not fix the problem. I read about adding a diode but that looks like it's an aftermarket compressors that need that, I read about the Climate control panel being an issue, etc. Because it blows cold for 1 minute, I feel like it could be a sensor or electric related problem vs mechanical (compressor) related.

go to any ac shop and have them put a set of gauges on the system-----the results will tell you the correct story

Not helpful when there is an electrical issue or system issue.
