Retrofitting massage/cold/hot front seats

Retrofitting massage/cold/hot front seats
Is this plug & play, or do you need extra modules, or a different wiring harness on a car that only has regular seats with heat and no memory function. ?

I am following this, as I bought some upgraded seats and wanting to install them.
My current seats have heat but doesnt have memory.
Im curious to see what anyone answers

Well this is brought up in many Mercedes forums, so this is my advice.
First, you can always buy the seats that have that functionality, yet you will need to buy those buttons that turns them on/off, or have it programmed into comand so you can set it up.
You would need to have the car re-programmed /wired to make sure those even work. Not that im saying it can be done, but be prepared to put $ down to have it done.
