Seattle R63 Build/ Photo Thread
As for further mods, I have something one off lined up for the exterior but it'll be a little while before it's completed.
So any hints as to the last update you have up your sleeve? Would you ever consider something to amplify the exhaust sound just a bit???
Kind regards

Don't think I'll do anything with the exhaust, it's got a decent note from the cabin for going around town.
Our local dealer has a new GL63 on the floor. Shame it's just boring black on black with only 2.5k in options.
Your brown interior with matte trim sounds awesome!

Still have a few mods up my sleeve, they're just taking forever to get the right people to work on it at the right times.

I'll have some more updates in the coming days.

I've never tried turning off the traction and pulling on the highway to be honest! Sometimes I'll get the traction light to come on when accelerating on a turn but never a full spin out. I think the car has too much grip to be able to do that.
I've installed LEDs for the whole interior (sans rear view mirror since those seem impossible to disassemble), mirror puddle lights, and replaced my greenish LED parking lights with new brighter whiter ones from AZNOptics. I'm working out a few kinks then I'll get to the photos.

The Westfalia hitch is hidden from view when the ball is removed. Do not know if it would work with the R63 fascia however.
This is a wonderful thread, one that I have enjoyed perusing! My highest compliments on a top quality build throughout.

Stay tuned in the following days for some more updates. I've got some cool surprises coming up!
And thanks all for taking a look!

As promised I have a few updates to share with you. The first is a simple and basic mod: wheel spacers. I installed 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm spacers in the rear. That makes my whole set up 21X9" wheels ET60 (before) and now the equivalent of ET45 Front and ET40 Rear.

Since I'm running extended H&R bolts that aren't made with locks, I went with the Eurasia wheel lock that bolts onto the end of the nut:

I have some more carbon fiber exterior parts being custom made as we speak and they'll be on the car within a few weeks.
