Has any one put 20s on there benz coupe? If so hows the ride and handling? I'm putting 255/35 20 in the Rear and 225/35 20 in the front?

Before I bought my S600 sedan, I test drove about 6 CLs with 20 inch rims, including the exact ones you are looking at.
Totally ruined the ride of these cars, I ended up with 2007 CL 19 inch rims, with 40 series tires still has a great ride.
Those 30 and 30 series ride like a truck.

You mean 225/40s right? I'm looking at going to 20s too, but not one good report so far. Might go down to 18s as the wheel I want isn't available in the 19" I'm running now. (Ascari Cuervo by the way)

why bother to change rims for such an old car???
i was considering to change rims for my SL, but i thought the new model is coming out next year and my SL will look dated anyway no matter what rims i have changed... so i have decided to leave it as is...
