Four-Door Mercedes S-Class Coupe Could Be in the Works
It looks like Mercedes-Benz might have something new up its sleeve in the form of a four-door coupe version of the S-Class.

I'm curious to see the inevitable photoshopped images.
The CL/S Coupe has traditionally been a 'pillar-less' design and not sure how that would be continued if he saloon mid-section is utilized. That said a Coupe with lengthened wheelbase with rear suicide doors might be interesting.
I also wonder if the "something new up its sleeve" could in fact be a next generation CLS - built on the S platform ? The CLS design has been wildly successful but the basic body style has changed relatively little since 2006... Rather than being a more attractive but less functional E class, basing a new CLS on the S platform might make sense.
