Chrome Trim Piece Below Front Bumper Cover
I’ve looked at a few of these on the C217’s and all seem to have what appears to be pitting. Can anyone comment on this? This trim looks to be plastic, however.

My S63 A217 has chrome trim and matte chrome trim near the bottom of the front bumper. One rock chip, but no pitting.

Iv got all 3 new pieces. I am putting clear bra on front bumper and it has the lower lip piece with it. So it will be clear bra. Maybe that will prolong it

You do know that is under warranty
I just had them replace my pitted piece. It's covered under warranty. Only the Edition 1's will run out of warranty first and I have 4 months left. Yours will not run out of warranty for a while. Take it and have ALL trim items replaced or you will have to live with the defects or pay for them yourself.

If I were you I'd replace the part under warranty 1st
get it replaced for free while under warranty then put a protector on it. Fix it while it's free. It's only 195.00 retail.
