Hi all,

Newbie here, wanted to get your guys' idea on what is the best mount/holder for a phone on the C217? I am struggling massively with this and have been hunting for weeks. Any ideas/links/photos would be greatly appreciated!

This site won't let me upload a photo go to the W222 sedan section and see my phone solution. It actually works well, except I cannot charge it in that location. Also is it just mine but charging my phone using the USB in the armrest takes forever

I use a magnetic charger mount attached to the solitary air vent left of the steering wheel. It came with a metal ring that fits between the phone and case, and it holds it in place and allows Qi wireless charging. I could not find any power switched to the ignition in the adjacent fusebox so I use a compact USB cigarette adapter in the ashtray, you can hide the wire under the trim and under the dash below the steering wheel into the fuse box. Paid about $35 for all of it. I can post photos tomorrow, car is currently up on a lift in my garage but I need to bring it down later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hi Heisenberg - yeh if you could post some photo please that would be great. How do you find the magnetic holder though? Does it every fall or slip off if you go over a pothole/bump too quick? Or under harsh acceleration/braking?

The magnetic holders work find I have them on all my cars and they don't fall off. Went off roading in my Raptor yesterday and the phone never moved. Just make sure the magnet on the back of the phone is strong.

Yes - need a flush mount cigarette>USB adapter and a cable with a compact connector

I bought three of these:
Works fine for me. They come with three 'rubber' extenders so it fits comforably in a S550 coupe cup holder. Without the rubber extenders it fits well in a XJL.
