If I've found a good deal on an S63 lemon law/buyback car, am comfortable with the financial and mechanical risks involved. However, I've never EXITED a lemon law car before. If I own it 4 years can you even then trade a branded title at a dealership? Obviously you have to dispose a branded title, or I would anyway, because it's going to turn up on the Carfax even in states that don't track it, which is about half.

So, if you're in a state that brands titles and you try to trade a lemon law car at that manufacturer's dealership, what do they say? No thanks we already owned it, twice was enough?

I want to understand what my problems will be when it's time to sell!

I think it is now like a salvage title.Virtually worthless

Hardly worthless I would think. Even if it doesn't run, $1000's in parts on the car.
