Raising Car For Oil Change

Anyone doing their own oil changes on a '16 S550 coupe? MB has these adapters, p/n 203 589 02 31 00:

Wondering if these are needed or not. The four are one for each corner when using a lift. I'm just talking about using a floor jack to raise the car.

you just jack under the normal rubber jack pads in the front. I use 2 and raise the whole front

Best way to change oil is to suck it out of the oil dip stick tube on top of the engine. No jacking; no drain plugs.

What oil extractor do you use. Lots of negative comments about the Mityvac 7400 including incompatibility with synthetic oil.

Pull the tube; dump; reinsert and finish.
