Coupling cell phones to external antenna
In reference to option code 386, which enables linking a cell phone to the vehicle antenna for possibly improved cell reception:
As I currently travel in some fringe coverage areas, is it possible to add something like the above to a 2016 model year S550 coupe, not sedan, to optimize cell reception (short of active boosters from reliable companies which then are third-party equipment installs) - and if so, how much of a hassle is the addition to this vehicle?
Would be used in conjunction with the iPhone 11 Pro / this year's upcoming model.
