S63 AMG Coupe

Hi,

Can anybody confirm if they have found a new style grille to fit the S63 AMG Coupe 2016 ? there is plenty for none AMG models but doesn't seem to be any that fit the AMG version?

Cheers

I dont know if the s550 and s63 are not the same. You can check parts number for normal bullitt grill to see if both cars use that same grill

I can confirm that I've seen posts/pics on this very site illustrating people's successful destruction of the looks of their 2015, '16, '17 C217 and A217 by installing the ugly Panamericana grille. Go ahead. Make it look like a Buick Le Sabre. To each his own.

Sorry. Not only am I opposed to this plan (obviously) but it doesn't say "Search agent" anywhere on me or my profile.

S63C4, Comments like that are not helpful and are rude. Do we really need to be like that?

That's because we just don't do that. I find it rude to join a forum and just ask the community to find you stuff instead of doing the research yourself.
This entire thread shouldn't even be here. It serves no purpose and it never will. That is, unless someone, maybe you, wants to do this newb's work for him.

Guy is still at it, he felt the need to tell me about my Buick upgrade earlier today. Imagine coming these forums to have an issue with people deciding to change their grill over the course of YEARS

…🤣

Sorry. I just really like the single I-Bar grill and very much dislike the Panamericana grill, obviously. I'll stop jokingly insulting the grill swappers as of now. It's just too difficult to express sarcasm in print, especially when dealing with such thin skins. Again, sorry.

🤣 Well played. The I-Bar grill is beautiful and embodies true Mercedes class but the Panamerica grill does the front end justice for the 63 AMG model IMO. It’s a big body coupe with strong lines throughout the whole car and the front just feels soft with the original grill. The protruding curved lines give the front bumper a more powerful presence. Just my opinion as a designer. As a purist, you are absolutely correct.

It's not a "purism" thing, I'm just of the opinion that the I-Bar grill is "meaner-looking" than the Panamericana is. No Buick (except the '69 and '70 GS) ever looked "mean", and whether you see it or not, the vertical chrome in an oval is very Buick.

Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody's got one. I'll shut up now.

I just never really paid attention to Buick or their styling so that’s probably it. I guess let’s agree to disagree. Enjoy that I-bar in great health.

3 years ago and this thread still cracks me up! I came back looking for a post I made about indexing plugs and just reread this thread. Good times! Still driving my W.4 equipped silver bullet and can't imagine a time I'd ever wanna sell it.

God forbid I'd sell it to someone who'd put a Panamericana grill on it! LOL
