The (even longer) wait begins for my new (to me) CPO coupe

Anyway, I had been searching for weeks to find the CPO car for me and finally found it in Ohio (but I live in CA). So though I have owned 16 cars in my life, for the first time, I have bought one out of state. My two big vices are cars and guitars (unusual for a woman, I know) but I have wanted an S class for years.
I was nervous enough about buying a car I had never seen in person or driven. But I did the deal and it was supposed to be picked up today by Plycar to ship to me in CA.
Unfortunately, they attempted to pick it up early on Saturday and the dealer wouldn’t release it as the signed docs didn’t arrive to them until today. The dealer told me the truck driver told him they would come back today to get the car.
When 6pm Ohio time today came and went, and the car still had not been picked up, I contacted Plycar. They told me they would now not be getting it until Thursday or Friday.
I gave up my SL (shipped to the same Ohio dealer in trade) on Saturday, but now instead of being car-less for a week, looks like it will be two as Plycar quoted me an approximate seven day delivery time.
Aside from the pure inconvenience of lacking a car for two weeks, I really am just disappointed to have to wait the extra week to get it. I’ve wanted this car for years and so one week is small in the scheme of things but still…disappointed.
I know it is first world champagne problems to be without your new (to me) S class for another week because you gave up your SL too soon. But it feels so close if yet so far.
The dealer sent me a photo of it parked inside awaiting its ride to CA. Loved the photo but just makes me long for it more. I’m still anxious about all the hoops I will have to go through to register it here at my DMV but more than anything, I’m excited. If they made advent calendars for delivery of a car, I would have one.
So here I am counting the days until I can officially call myself an S class owner like the rest of you…and definitely going to check the tracking number of it constantly once Plycar provides it to me after pickup.

After you get it please post a comparison review.

Thanks so much.
Thanks very much. Both cars are great - but they definitely each have their advantages or disadvantages over the other (albeit subjectively). I think that sounds like fun. I probably will do that once I’ve had the S for a couple of weeks.
Shouldn’t be too long now as my car was picked up yesterday. Plycar’s tracking is great as I’ve seen it go from Indiana to Illinois today. Can’t wait to get it as this is definitely a dream car for me.
