Oil change FYI

So I decided to see how much additional oil I could get out once the dripping started from the pan drain. I put a 250ml beaker under there and filled it up twice over an 8hr period. I know most are not going to do this but goes to show that quick oil changes leave a decent amount of old oil behind to mix with the new oil. Also found my swaybar and an electrical connector a little wet on the pass.side (car is a 2017 at 26K miles), tried to trace it down but it was not very apparent where it was coming from. Going to take it in under CPO warranty.

I like how meticulous you about your car. I have the same yar and miles, but Cabrio. Let us know what you find on the leak.

I suspect the leak is coming from the cam shaft plug cover (cylinder head expansion cover) on the back of the head (passenger side). Part# 00099866590 , $6.89 each on amazon. I have not replaced it yet but will chime in when I do. There are a few videos on youtube about it.

Same year, same mileage!!! SAME OCD behavior and live in the same State....(not state of confusion.... rather Texas) Actually one reason I try to do a more frequent oil change schedule is the amount of residual oil that's left.
